Dancehall is really making waves in Gh and as a matter of fact most of the youth of today prefer the dancehall genre to other genres of music, and over the years too we have seen a massive enthusiasm from the female dancehall artistes as the already established ones are almost fighting to be the dancehall QUEEN.
However from the fastest growing commercial city in Gh and West Africa - ODUPONGKPEHE KASOA mostly called KASCITY or KASLAND by the youth comes DREAD MAN, with his different style of presenting his dancehall songs and also different lyrical content. The energy that lies at the back of his voice and the flair with which he projects his songs leaves little to be said of him, currently he is rated as a possible contender for the dancehall reign in KASLAND.
He also triples as a sound producer and a photo designer as he does magic behind the keyboard and and PC. He is the CEO of EPIC ARTS, and director at KILO records.
In our interview with him he revealed how he feels about dancehall in KASCITY and how Kascity must also be heard the whole of GH and beyond. he said, ' we have heard a lot of brouhaha and cacophony in songs from most part of Ghana (Gh) however Gh hasn't heard anything yet, KASLAND is coming like a thunder bolt to take over'.
